Jeep Safari in Saranda and Albania Riviera

Meet with the guide at the port of Saranda and transfer to Lekuresi Castle, where we will take the jeeps and instructions for the tour.
Start driving by the main road that connects Saranda to the coastal villages of the Riviera. Continue driving by the coast side next to the Ionian sea, enjoying the view of the typical Mediterranean architecture of the villages, and the white sandy beaches.
Stop for refreshment in Borsh village. Leaving from Borsh, passing through Qeparo beach, towards the mountain village from where the Albanian Polyphony was create. This village is call PILUR and is situated 950 m vertical from the level of the sea. From Qeparo to Pilur almost the driving will be OFF ROAD and 99% up hill.
To Pilur we will have the opportunity to visit the church of Saint Maria, walking around the village, meat local people and enjoy a homemade local dish (included)
After lunch break start to drive downhill to Himara beach. Stay for approximately 1 hour relaxing by the beach.
On our way to Saranda, stop for a visit of Porto Palermo Castle, where is located as well the second biggest NAVY BASE during the Communist system. This Castle was built from the 15-th Century (Venetian period) and later on was complete during the 18-th Century (Ottomans period)
Drive back to Saranda, where we drop off the jeeps and transfer to the port.
